[무슨 말을 하고 있는지]:1)번역은 우선 “말이 통해야” 합니다. 도대체 무슨 말을 하고 있는 것인지 종잡을 수 없는 말을 하면서 번역을 했다고 할 수는 없습니다. 2)여기 찔끔 저기 찔끔 오역을 흘리고 있지만 사실은 그런 오역들이 전체의 문맥과 관련되기 때문에 결국 “전 단락을 오역했다”라고 말할 수밖에 없군요.


[I too dissemble]:1)역자는 {{I too dissemble}}을 “내 인생의 하루하루를 살고 있다.”운운하고 있는데요. 도대체 이게 무슨 말인가요? 누구는 “하루하루를 살”지 않고 이틀씩 사흘씩 살고 있는 사람도 있나요? 2) {{I too dissemble}}은 “나 역시 진실을 숨기는 생활을 하고 있다”는 의미일 뿐입니다. 그리고 물론 uncommunicative=>dissemble 동의어 관계이죠.


[act=>show=>seeming]:1)영어는 “관계의 언어”입니다. 여러 관계들 중에서 동의어 관계가 가장 빈도가 높다고 할 수가 있지요. 2)act=>show=>seeming 어떤 관계입니까? 연기:쇼:겉으로 드러나는 일 전부 동의어 관계가 아닙니까?

But the Korean (Republic of) translator turns out an ineffective communicator. He has failed to get the author's messages across to his (or her) readers.


2)What has caused the translator's failure? I think negligence, among all things, is to blame. And the lack of linguistic sense and that of responsibility is the culprit.


3)The English language is relationships. It is the language of relationships. It is established on the foundation of relationships. The expository prose is the web of relationships. So, the correct meaning of a specific word, phrase, or statement should be explored in the context of relationships.

4)Specific expressions in news articles, essays and novels make conversions in the course of developments. You can find various types of relationships and come to realize that the particular expressions define one another by their relationships.


5)The translator prevaricates on the clause {{I too dissemble,}}by misconstruing it to mean to the effect that "I make everyday living." A total nonsense. "I too hide truth," is the correct translation. The words uncommunicative and dissemble are synonyms here in this case, of course. (Like father, I am an uncommunicative type.)


6)The Korean translator of The Interpretation of Murder has bungled the last three sentences of the paragraph. A ludicrous procession of nonsensical craps. To elaborate, the linguistic equation is established in three sentences. In other words, three key words of {{acting. show. seeming.}} are just one and the same meaning (acting=show=seeming)


7)To make their case, writers employ repetitions. They repeat identical or similar expressions, which constitute the characteristics of the modern English prose. The last three sentences {{All other kinds of expression are forms of acting. They're all show. They are all seeming.}}are just the case.
